In the story, Eisenhorn makes "the sign of the eagle" in the same manner as a Catholic makes the sign of the cross. But I think this is more fun to recognize characters before Bequin does. I think the extreme time-jumps played a part in that. Find a copy of the Eisenhorn Omnibus. Overall, I think the Eisenhorn novels are a good read, even for those who are not into Warhammer 40K. Being overall satisfied with Dan's writings I decided to pick up the Eisenhorn omnibus a while ago and finally sat down and got to reading it. Wherever they go, and whatever dangers they face, they will .. The three stories in this omnibus tell the tale of Inquisitor Gideon Ravenor and his lethal band of operatives, whose investigations take them from the heart of the Scarus Sector to the wildest regions of space beyond, and even through time itself. I finished reading the entire Eisenhorn omnibus, which consists of Malleus and Hereticus as well as Xenos , which I already discussed. I've bought a 54mm Eisenhorn figure, and he's currently sitting in bits in a drawer at my parents' house. Totally worth it: 40k 2nd edition Codex Chaos - As you may have realised by now, Totally Worth It as a series is as much about forgotten or unjustly maligned gems of tabletop wargaming as it is about the 3 days ago. I was heavily into 40K as a teenager and read Abnett's Eisenhorn books when they first came out. I have to say overall that I liked the I actually enjoy omnibuses, at least of Warhammer 40k books, because they're usually about $15 and contain three or four books which individually would cost $24-32 (Averaging about $8 a book) and it takes up less shelf space than the individual books. I didn't like the later two books as much as I did the first one. (Just discovered 'Hereticus' came out a decade ago. I've always loved the I'm reading through the omnibus again (just finished Xenos myself), so great to see some new Eisenhorn art!
